The Russell Westbrook era in Oklahoma City will continue for at least three more years.

The All-Star point guard signed a contract extension with the Thunder on Thursday. The Associated Press reports the deal is worth $85.7 million.

Fans cheered Westbrook’s name as he entered the Chesapeake Energy Arena on Thursday for a press conference to announce the extension. He told reporters there’s no place he would rather be than Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook has been named MVP of the 2016 NBA All-Star game, giving him the award for the second straight season.

Westbrook led the Western Conference with 31 points, eight rebounds and five assists in a 196-173 win over the Eastern Conference in Toronto.

Westbrook won the award in Brooklyn last year as well. The only other player to win back-to-back All-Star MVPs was Bob Pettit of St. Louis in 1958 and 1959. But Pettit shared the award with Elgin Baylor in 1959.
