The family music festival Wiggle Out Loud celebrates its third year in Oklahoma City this weekend, featuring live music, art, and healthy and fun activities for children of all ages.
This year, the festival has moved from an all-volunteer festival to under the direction of The Children's Hospital. Founder Chris Wiser says the transition has gone smoothly.
"It was perfect timing and a perfect organization to take over because the mission of the festival fit perfectly with what they were already doing and wanting to promote more fully."
Wiggle Out Loud takes place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Sunday at Bicentennial Park in downtown Oklahoma City and is open to the public. The event features family friendly music from Sugar Free Allstars, Trout Fishing in America, 123 Andres, Adam & Kizzie, Dino O'Dell and Spaghetti Eddie.
Activities include yoga, parachute games, hula-hoops, soccer billiard with OKC Energy FC, face painting, and interactions with a Galápagos tortoise.
