Medieval Fair Free Lecture SeriesCome learn more about the middle ages just for the fun of learning! No papers, no tests, just interesting information about life long ago.
Presented by Joyce Coleman, Bambas Professor of Medieval English Literature and Culture, University of Oklahoma. Medieval drama was the original street theater—acted by local citizens, performed on wagon-stages that moved around the town. Come learn about it all by participating in or watching mini-productions of The Second Shepherds’ Play, The Play of Noah, and other medieval hit productions! (All the plays will be in modern English translation.)
