Ten Commandments Monument Must Be Removed From Oklahoma's State Capitol

Ryan LaCroix / KOSU

The Oklahoma Supreme Court rules the Ten Commandments at the State Capitol must be removed, as it violates the state's constitution. Opponents of the monument won the case on a 7-2 decision.

ACLU Oklahoma Executive Director Ryan Kiesel explains what this means for Oklahomans.

The monument was erected in 2012, and replaced earlier this year after being destroyed when a man hit it with his vehicle.
