An author pushing for the separation of church and state is coming to Oklahoma.
KOSU's Danniel Parker reports on the visit of Rob Boston.
Rob Boston is speaking at Belle Isle Library tonight at 7 p.m.
Boston says separation of church and state is especially important to the overwhelmingly Christian and republican state of Oklahoma where he feels it's misinterpreted and exploited by state government.
He says Religious freedom is an individual right, not a device to control others.
Boston is covering two state topics-- Sharia law and Hobby Lobby.
This is part of a free Constitution Day event put on by Americans United for Separation of Church and State.
