KOSU Hires New Membership Specialist

KOSU welcomed Mairead Todd to the KOSU Membership team on February 23.

Mairead is an Oklahoma City native, with a bachelor's degree in Media Arts from the University of Oklahoma and a master's degree in TV, Radio and Film from Syracuse University. She spent several years working for various non-profits in the Oklahoma City metro area and market and audience research at PBS in Washington, D.C.

After four years in the nation’s capital, she moved back to Oklahoma with the goal of getting involved in public media.

"Mairead hit the ground running from day one to lead our membership department and she is already making a positive difference," says Kelly Burley, KOSU director. "Her experience in and passion for public media, combined with her abilities to analyze data and conceptualize strategies are allowing us to fine tune our processes that will strengthen the quality of our relationships with listener members."

Mairead will serve as the frontline of communications between KOSU and our members and the point person of fundraising on KOSU.

"Mairead has been an excellent edition to the development team here at KOSU," says Jenny Mae Harms, KOSU development director. "The fresh perspective she brings to the membership function of the station will allow us to better serve our members and sustaining members while also growing our membership base."

Mairead can be reached at mairead@kosu.org.

Mairead was KOSU's Membership Specialist from February 2015 to February 2022.
