Who’s ready to see a rodeo, but instead of seeing animals, watch power workers compete!
KOSU’s Diana Martinez reports.
Municipal Electric Systems of Oklahoma Lineworkers Rodeo welcomes the public in Stillwater to watch them compete at Boomer Lake.
Thursday morning, lineworkers from cities across Oklahoma are competing in seven different events.
Organizers say it’s a way for line workers to learn more about their profession and have fun competing.
It also gives the public a chance to see the various obstacle courses demonstrating their skills.
