Changes Coming for Morning Edition & All Things Considered

Beginning November 17, you may find yourself a little off kilter when you listen to Morning Edition.  We hear from many of you that you know you're late if you hear the local weather and you haven't reached a certain part in your commute or gotten your kids out the door.  Well, you might want to reset those clocks.

After nearly two years of research, NPR is changing the arrangement of Morning Edition and All Things Considered.  For the most part, this will mean minor shifts in where you hear newscasts and the places where we tell you the local weather and provide local news and events updates.  We just want to warn you in advance because we know it's hard to make changes in your morning routine.

In addition to the changes coming from NPR, KOSU is hiring a new local Morning Edition host.  Because of all this change, we want to do a little evaluation that will guide the way we shape the sound of your Morning Edition over the next several months.  With the local programming we do inside of Morning Edition, we want to know what you think we're doing well, what you think stinks and what you think is missing from the program.

Change provides opportunity, and we need your help to take full advantage of this one.   Please fill out our short survey.  Your feedback is very important to us, and it will inform the changes we make over the next several months.

Thanks so much for being a part of this great radio community.
