Soweto Gospel Choir

The Soweto Gospel Choir is a world-famous ensemble from South Africa. Since their beginning in 2002, the Grammy and Emmy award-winning group has performed all over the world for individuals such as Nelson Mandela, Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, Oprah Winfrey and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Performing in eight different languages, including English, Xhosa, Zulu and Sotho, the Soweto Gospel Choir’s earthy rhythms, rich harmonies, a capella and charismatic performances combine to uplift the soul and celebrate the spirit of South Africa.
