"The Fox On The Fairway"

February 8th 2013 7:30pm - 4:00pm at Grove Playmakers

The annual Golf Tournament between rivals Quail Valley Country Club and Crouching Squirrel Country Club is imminent. The club presidents have, as usual, made an outrageous wager. The contest pays out amidst three love affairs, objectionable sweaters, an engagemaent ring down the toilet, a microphone with a mind of its own, and an exploding vase. Filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, over-the-top romantic shenanigans, and mildly but deliciously bawdy jokes, this furiously paced comedy is a tribute to the great English farces of the 1930's and 1940's, mixed with antics of the Marx Brothers and the slapstick of Commedia dell' Arte.
