OCU Christmas Vespers

December 6th 2013 - 8:00pm
Price: 15.00

More than 250 Oklahoma City University singers and orchestral musicians will celebrate the 36th annual Christmas Vespers concerts in the Bishop W. Angie Smith Chapel, which is celebrating its 45th anniversary. The OCU Symphony Orchestra will perform with four OCU vocal ensembles: University Singers, Ad Astra Women’s Chorus, the University Men’s Chorus and the Chamber Choir, and narrator Dr. Frank Ragsdale.
An instrumental prelude, spotlighting the OCU Symphony Orchestra, a classical guitar ensemble, student organists and the Graduate Flute Quartet, begins 30 minutes before each concert. To maintain the chapel's contemplative atmosphere, audience members must be seated no later than 15 minutes before each performance begins. Latecomers may not be accommodated.
Performances will be held at 8 p.m. Dec. 6, and 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Dec. 7.
