Business For Breakfast
Have an idea for a business, but aren't sure where to start?
Join the crowd.
Crowdsource funding, an on-line process of soliciting small amounts of money from a large group of outside individuals, is taking the small business market by storm. Recent changes to the laws covering investors will make it even more useful for future business startups. Companies such as The Pebble and Matterform have used crowdsource funding to start their businesses.
Join Bob Cohen, CEO of Braintree Business Development Center, a technology business incubator and entrepreneurship center in northeast Ohio, to learn how crowdsource funding can help small businesses do big things.
Cohen will explore the basics of crowdsource funding, examine crowdsource funding sites and successful campaigns and discuss how crowdsource funding is applicable to small businesses owners and entrepreneurs.
August 15 -- 7:30 am -- Room 104
RSVP IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.
