POK 20/20: Two Decades of Preservation Oklahoma

Preservation Oklahoma, Inc. (POK) is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2012. In honor of this occasion, POK will be hosting a party that celebrates its first two decades and offers a vision for the future. 20/20: Two Decades of Preservation Oklahoma will take place on November 8 on historic Automobile Alley in Oklahoma City. The event is made possible by a grant from the Kirkpatrick Foundation. Additional support is provided by BC Clark Jewelers.

The evening will feature the premiere of a video that chronicles the first two decades of POK, a presentation by best-selling author and Route 66 expert Michael Wallis, and the recognition of POK’s founding board members. The organization will also inaugurate the Preservation Oklahoma Young Leadership Award recognizing Kristen Vails, Executive Director of the Plaza District Association. The party will also feature music from Beau Jennings and the Tigers. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
