Istvan Gallery Sixth Anniversary Art Show
November 9th 2012 6:00pm - 10:00pm at Istvan Gallery
For its Sixth Anniversary show, Istvan Gallery will feature emerging and established artists including Dusty Gilpin, whose mixed media art is influenced by typography and graffiti, AK Westerman, whose paintings vary between abstract and surrealism, Rick and Tracey Bewley, who fuse their individual talents to create glass sculptures, and Nathan Lee whose current paintings explore an artistic look at the notion of memory.The show will open on Friday, Nov. 9 from 6 to 10 p.m. with an artistâ??s reception. The reception is free, open to the public and will include entertainment, light hors dâ??oeuvres and beverages. Visitors can also observe glass blowing demonstrations by artists at neighboring gallery Blue Sage Studio. The opening will be followed by an open house on Nov. 10 and 11 from 1 to 5 p.m. The show will continue through Jan. 27, 2013.
