On Tap: Homeless in Oklahoma

February 26th 2014 - 6:00pm

We'll talk about what it's like to be homeless in Oklahoma, what's already being done and the projects that need to be started. It’s estimated more than 4,300 homeless people call Okalhoma home. Homelessness affects men, women and children from all walks of life and especially our veterans. While the task to end homelessness might seem daunting there are those out there tackling it one person at a time. Join Homeless Alliance Executive Director Dan Straughan and Hope House OKC Executive Director Treb Praytor for an in-depth look at the issue of homelessness and what can be done to help those in need. Join us for the discussion Wednesday, February 26 at 6 p.m. at Picasso Café in Oklahoma City.
