Smart Start Central Oklahoma Early Birds Class

October 13th 2012 10:00am - 11:30am at Mid-Del High School

Smart Start Central Oklahoma (SSCO) will provide Early Birds, a school readiness program for parents, in October in partnership with Mid-Del Schools. Parents must live within the school district to attend these classes.

Early Birds will provide parents information and free resources, including educational toys and books to help stimulate their childâ??s development and build the skills they need to be successful in school. In addition to a strong emphasis on social and emotional development, class topics include everyday learning opportunities, discipline and community resources available to parents.

The classes target parents with children ages birth to 5 years old, and those expecting a baby. The 90-minute program is free, and child care is available.
