Meeker Pecan Festival

October 11th 2012 6:00pm - 11:30pm at Meeker Growth and Development

The 3rd Annual Meeker Pecan Festival is set to take place Thursday October 11 through Saturday October 13th in Meeker, Oklahoma at the Rodeo Grounds East of town. The event will kick off with a carnival at 6PM Thursday Night. Friday Evenings events will begin at 5PM with the opening of the beer garden, which will feature live entertainment. The Royalty Contest will begin at 7PM. Saturday's events will begin with a 5K marathon at 8AM and a parade at 10am. the carnival and beer garden will open at 11AM. Vendors will be available all three days. The beer garden will have a big screen TV set up for viewing the OU/Texas game. The very entertaining bed races will take place immediately following the parade. The chili cook-off, pumpkin decorating contest, and baked goods contest will take place mid-day Saturday. The Pecan Festival is planned by the Meeker Growth and Development Authority, a non profit group organized to bring new opportunities to Meeker. Like us on Facebook.
