La Cage aux Folles is a wonderful piece of American theatre. A sweeping musical with a traditional score and non-traditional story, written by Harvey Fierstein and music and lyrics by Tony award-winning composer and lyricist, Jerry Herman. La Cage aux Folles centers around the relationship between two men, Georges and Albin, their fabulous, flamboyant transvestite nightclub and the romance their son falls into.
