MARKED 2014

March 2nd 2014 - 12:00pm

Marked is an annual one-day event designed to bring awareness to the issues affecting marginalized women both locally and globally. In addition to awareness, attendees are given tangible steps to take toward restoring dignity and hope to girls and women everywhere.   The marginalization of women affects everyone - every gender, race, profession, family, religion. It is a human issue, not a women's issue. We believe that women should never be marked by death, torture, or fear. Women can and should be marked by love, hope, and a future. This year's event will focus on how education, employment, and relational support can prevent the marginalization of women and girls around the world. The event will feature seminars, interactive learning stations, partner agency information, Shop Good market, international cafe, and more.
