German Feast and Auction
The German Feast & Auction in the town of Corn is a great event where visitors can try authentic, tasty German food. Festivities begin at 10am, when homemade baked goods including pies, cakes, schnetka (a German pastry), candies and German sausage will be available. Sign up for the silent auction for gift certificates, handmade toys and other handcrafted items. Visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase homemade breads, jellies, rolls, cakes and pastries. At 11:30am, get in line for the German feast to sample all of the savory food, from traditional verenika to sausage and cracklins. The live auction begins at 12:30pm with a variety of items up for auction. Bid on vacations, fishing trips, handmade quilts and afghans, sports collector items, gift baskets and much more. The German Feast and Auction continues, with dinner at 5pm to enjoy more of the traditional German feast.
