Killackey

April 26th 2013 - 9:00pm

Havana Affair is an all Ramones cover band created by the donations of Edmond Memorial High School students. Edmond Memorial High School AP Language and Composition teacher Regan Killackey (and ’03 OSU graduate) dared his students to contribute individually to the school’s annual charity fundraiser—Swine Week. If his classes succeeded in gathering the revenue, he agreed to “perform” at their Battle of the Bands charity show with a local “super” group consisting of members from They Stay Dead, the Feel Spectres, American Ruse, Los Hijos Del Diablo, and Euclid Crash. Havana Affair played the Battle of the Bands, booked an additional show at the Conservatory a week later, and entertained the crowd with high energy and classic rock ‘n roll radio.

April 26th they will be performing an encore show at VZD’s beginning at 9pm.
