Fiber Artists of Oklahoma, OKC Chapter

April 11th 2013 - 7:00pm

The Oklahoma City Chapter of Fiber Artists of Oklahoma will meet at 7 p.m., April 11, at Belle Isle Library, 5501 N. Villa. Award winning artist Julie Marks Blackstone will explain some of the less-common techniques she employs in her fiber art, including French-knot portraits and weaving images with painted warp. Ms. Blackstone is an Assistant Professor of Art at Oklahoma Baptist University. For more information, go to www.fiberartistsok.org.
