Join us in celebrating the impact of our Mentorship Program! Each year, we reach over 150 students across 14 schools, guiding them through artistic exploration and preparing them for a dynamic academic and professional future.
This competitive exhibition offers high and middle school students unparalleled exposure, fostering connections within the larger art community. Selected students will showcase relief prints and screen prints produced throughout the year, reflecting their growth and dedication.
Throughout the Mentorship Program, students engage in peer critiques and discussions with esteemed artist mentors, enriching their understanding of artistic processes. We are immensely grateful to our sponsors for enabling us to offer this program free of charge to participating students and schools.
The opening reception for this year's exhibition will take place on March 7 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, with an award ceremony from 6:00-6:30. We invite you to immerse yourself in the creativity of our talented students, accompanied by light hors d'oeuvres.

The multi-sensory experience combines glass, video, and audio to tell the story of Raven, a creator figure in Northwest Coast Native American culture, who was the giver of the stars, moon, and sun. Raven takes visitors on a transformative journey through darkness into light. In addition to Singletary’s striking glass pieces, the exhibition features storytelling paired with original music, coastal Pacific Northwest soundscapes, and video.
"Magnificent Beauty: Georgia O’Keeffe and the Art of the Flower" examines explorations of flowers in painting and photography by O’Keeffe and Imogen Cunningham, highlighting their unique interpretations of the traditional subject matter.
Multiple Voices is the first public artwork in the United States by Eva Schlegel, the Austria-based artist known for engineering steel and mirrors into spectacular, architectonic sculptures. Working with materials similar to the arts center’s new building, Schlegel created a series of polished and translucent surfaces that catch and reflect light and parts of the surrounding environment, encouraging visitors to gather, play and learn. Poems by Steve Bellin-Oka, Kimberly Blaeser and Joy Harjo appear in blurred form on glass panels, registering each poem as part of the sculpture, but rendered cryptic to the viewer.

Descendants of the Black 1000: Flight from Oklahoma Black Towns to Canada features the work of Canadian artist Donna Paris and photographer David Ofori Zapparoli. A selection of 12 photographs with corresponding oral history audio recordings reveals the deep connections between Black Canadians and Oklahoma, from where many of the portrait sitters’ forebears hail. Through photographs, interviews, and archival materials, Descendants of the Black 1000 creates a fuller picture of how Black history in Oklahoma had an international reach, going beyond the state and connecting communities across the continent.
