We are honored to invite local author Gaye Sanders to discuss and sign her book “The Survivor Tree” on Monday, April 16th at 6:30pm. About the Book: An American elm is planted in Oklahoma City and grows with the city until 9:02 a.m., April 19, 1995. The next spring, buds appear on the charred elm, and word spreads like a prairie wildfire through the world. This symbol of hope and strength becomes known as The Survivor Tree. About the Author: Gaye Sanders teaches fourth grade in Mustang Oklahoma, where every year she shares the story of the Oklahoma City bombing with her students.
