Ann Fontanella - in concert

April 12th 2013 7:00pm - 9:30pm at Parsons Municipal Auditorium

Ann Fontanella is a beauty with a long list of credentials and repertoire. As the last protégé of the â??Old Russian Schoolâ?? style, Ann is a romantic artist creating rich, warm tones and exact precision with every note.
After her debut concert at Londonâ??s Wigmore Hall, Annâ??s show was acclaimed as one of the top five concerts of the 2005 season and in 2006 she started the year off with a performance at Weil Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall.
Ann plays with conviction and verve, delivering the sounds of a veteran virtuoso. Whether itâ??s a breathtaking version of Tchaikovskyâ??s Violin Concerto or Henri Vieuxtempsâ?? variation of â??Yankee Doodle,â?? sheâ??ll leave the audience inspired and impressed.
