Step Right Up, Baby

May 3rd 2013 6:00pm - 10:00pm at Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club

Between school work, family, friends and extra-curricular activities, life may feel like a circus for the average teenager, but a group of 29 Oklahoma teens have thrown charity work into the ring as well.

Since August, the Infant Crisis Services Teen Associate Board of has been preparing for the charity auction and dinner.

This year’s auction, Step Right Up, Baby, is carnival-themed. All proceeds from the event will help feed and diaper thousands of needy babies and toddlers in our community. Many of the little ones who will benefit from the event are children of teen parents. One in five parents who turn to Infant Crisis Services for help is under the age of 20.

The Teen Associate Board of Infant Crisis Services was established 11 years ago with the focus of raising awareness and funding for the nonprofit agency.

The event will be held Friday, May 3, 2013, at 6 p.m. at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. It will consist of silent and live auctions with more than 200 donated items to bid on, including memorabilia autographed by celebrities like Katharine Hepburn, Madonna and Carrie Underwood.

Individual tickets are $50 and tables of eight begin at $500. Tickets can be purchased by contacting Infant Crisis Services at (405) 778-7620 or online at www.infantcrisis.org.
