“Giving with Style” Symposium Feat. Victoria’s Secret CEO

April 10th 2013 9:30am - 1:30pm at University of Oklahoma Memorial Union, Molly Shi Boren Ballroom

Price: 25.00

Learn how Oklahoma women combine business and philanthropy in style by attending the 2013 Women and Philanthropy Symposium. Victoria’s Secret CEO and Ardmore native Sharen Jester Turney is joined by several other Oklahoma business women to share how philanthropy looks good on you and the community.

This year’s theme, Giving with Style: Making a Statement Through Philanthropy, highlights the fact charitable giving is always “in style,” with Oklahoma women leading the way through their philanthropic endeavors. Hosted by the University of Oklahoma Women’s Philanthropy Network, this event empowers women at all stages of life to become participants in the giving process.

Other speakers include: Danielle Keogh, owner of Liberté women’s boutique; Melissa Scaramucci, owner of Local; Morgan Harris, owner of Green Bambino, Julia Chew, president of Sooner Stilettos and Beverly Woodrome with the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence Boren Mentoring Program.

The symposium is from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., April 10, at the University of Oklahoma Memorial Union, Molly Shi Boren Ballroom. Tickets are $25 and include a fashion show and lunch. OU student tickets are complimentary with a completed registration form and valid student ID. Other student groups may contact Cassie Gilman at 405-325-5676 for discounted ticket information.
