One Book, One Community: Stillwater Reads Woody Guthrie - Children's Songs
March 9th 2013 1:30pm - 3:30pm at Stillwater Public Library
Woody Guthrie Children’s Songs with musician and storyteller, Caroline Johnson, will be a lively and interactive program using washboards, tambourines, and more to accompany Woody Guthrie children’s songs. The songs touch on Woody as a father, his ties to his home state, his love of language, and his love of land and commitment to social justice. The Stillwater Library will display a selection of Woody Guthrie books and music written specifically for children to enhance this program.More details: http://library.stillwater.org/
