the art of vision
February 22nd 2013 10:00am - 3:00pm at Wes Watkins Center
Renowned graffiti artist, author and entrepreneur Erik Wahl will be appearing in Stillwater when he performs in two 90 minute presentations at the first OSU Staff Development Day on February 22.Wahl has performed his THE ART OF VISION (http://www.theartofvision.com) presentations in Barcelona, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Washington, D.C., among other locations. Wahl connects with his audience through on-stage painting, which becomes a visual metaphor for the core of his message. Both sessions’ paintings will be auctioned off by Oklahoma State at a later date.
There will be no cost for current OSU staff members. The general public can purchase $25 tickets online at https://secure.touchnet.com/C20271_ustores/web/store_main.jsp?STOREID=70 for the afternoon 1:30 session to be held at the West Watkins Center, just west of Boone Pickens Stadium, at the intersection of North Washington Street and Hall of Fame Avenue.
In addition, Wahl will be hiding an original painting somewhere on campus. Follow him on Twitter (http://twitter.com/erikwahl) and Facebook (http://facebook.com/iamerikwahl) for hints to its location. Whoever finds the drawing first and unlocks the combination will own it. Previous art created by Wahl has sold from between $7,000 and $20,000.
