Oklahoma Mission of Mercy

February 1st 2013 5:00am - 5:00pm at Great Plains Coliseum

Oklahomans can receive free dental care at a two-day clinic on Feb. 1-2, 2013, at The Great Plains Coliseum in Lawton, Okla. The fourth annual Oklahoma Mission of Mercy will be a fully functional dental facility with more than 130 chairs and nearly 1,400 volunteers, including dental professionals who will provide their services for free.

A variety of services will be offered at the event, including cleanings, fillings, extractions and a limited number of anterior root canals and third year molar (wisdom teeth) extractions. There will be no eligibility or income requirements to be treated, and event organizers expect to serve nearly 2,000 children and adults on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open to the public at 5 a.m. each day.
