Domestic Violence, The Problem, The Resources And OKDHS’ Response

This lecture will explore Oklahomaâ??s pervasive problem of Domestic Violence and how each of us can understand and respond to families facing this issue. You will hear from a panel of experts on Oklahomaâ??s current Domestic Violence status, community services available for victims and perpetrators, and the OKDHS Domestic Violence Taskforce.The panel of experts include: Marcia Smith, Executive Director, Oklahoma Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault; Brandon Pasley, Program Manager, Oklahoma Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) in the Victims Services Unit, Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General; Jackie Steyn, Chief Programs and Compliance Officer, YWCA Oklahoma City; and Victoria Harrison, Assistant Director for Quality, Oklahoma Child Support Services.
