Free Zen Buddhism Lecture

October 24th 2012 7:00pm - 9:00pm at Buddha Mind Monastery

Buddha Mind Monastery welcomes the Abbot of Chung Tai Chan Monastery, Ven. Master Jian Deng to preside over the transmission ceremony of the three refuges and the Five Precepts at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, October 24. An inspirational Zen Buddhism lecture will follow at 7:00 pm.

Chung Tai Chan Monastery in Taiwan is of the most popular Zen school in Buddhism. Its lineage traced back all the way to our fundamental teacher, Shakyamuni Buddha. It has 108 branches all over the world to bring the wisdom and compassion of the Buddha to the west. Buddha Mind Monastery is one of them. We invite everyone to take this unique opportunity to learn from one of the great masters. It is free and open to the public.
