Beginning Gourd Bowl Workshop
Beginning Gourd Bowl Workshop presented by Beth Bolay, gourd artist with Gratitude Gourds.
This beginning workshop will cover the basics of creating a finished piece of art from a dried gourd. Participants will learn the steps of cleaning the gourd, designing and burning the pattern onto the gourd, and choosing embellishments. Each participant will leave the workshop with their personally designed gourd and a wood-burning tool.
Registration with name and phone number and payment of $75.00 is due by July 9. This should be sent to the Cherokee Strip Museum @ 2617 Fir, Perry, OK 73077. Class size is limited to ten participants. Plans are for a 30 minutes lunch break. Participants may bring a sack lunch or go to a nearby restaurant.
