The Academy of Contemporary Music is hosting a master class with John Oates, half of the duo Hall and Oates, this week.

Since the release of their debut album in 1973, Hall and Oates have sold more albums than any other duo in the music industry.

ACM’s Chief Executive Officer Scott Booker, is sitting in with Oates for what he calls a unique interview, not like one you would read in Rolling Stone

“I tend to really draw out things that could influence a young artist or young music business professional in their career that they’re trying to have.”

Booker says that when looking into the history of great artists we love, we tend to forget that they’re people with real experiences

The class will be held on Thursday at the ACM@UCO Performance Lab, just east of the main building on Sheridan Ave at 6:30pm and will be open to the public
