Imagine an application on your smart phone to get a personal driver to come pick you up wherever you are in the Oklahoma City area.

That’s the idea behind UBER.

The technology company coming to Oklahoma City allows you to pull up the app, find a personal driver near you and having them take you where you need to go.

And, credit card information is already on file in the app meaning no cash has to change hands during the drive.

KOSU’s Michael Cross got a chance to sit down with Regional General Manager Andrew McDonald to talk about the kinds of drivers taking part in UBER.

McDonald says sign up is easy through or download the app from you mobile phone app store.

He says the app and website can also show you about how much it would cost to go from point A to Point B.
