The next On Tap – Common Core, and what it all means

Filed by KOSU News in Feature.
August 14, 2013

We’ve heard a lot about Common Core, some of it truth, some of it myth. We’re going to move beyond the rhetoric and into the classroom. What will it look like day to day for your kid? What are some of the issues? And what kind of challenges does this all present?

It’s all on the table at the next On Tap, where we’ll have guests from the State Department of Education and the Oklahoma PTA.

As always, it’s free, and thanks to our beer sponsor Coop Ale Works.

We hope to see you out there!

It starts at 6 PM at Picasso Cafe in Oklahoma City’s Paseo District on August 28th. To RSVP, click here.
