A day after storms killed one elderly man and damaged or destroyed more than 300 homes in Oklahoma, the Storm Prediction Center in Norman is warning there’s a moderate risk for tornadoes, large hail, and severe thunderstorms in the state.
The warning stretches across much of the central part of the state, including the Oklahoma City metro, as well as the northeastern corner, including Tulsa. The risk peaks early this evening.
For more details, the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center offers the most straightforward coverage.
