Small Earthquake Recorded Near Tishomingo

A small, 3.5-magnitude earthquake was recorded early this morning in south central Oklahoma, the U.S. Geological Survey reports.
The quake’s epicenter was four miles southeast of Tishomingo at a depth of about three miles, preliminary data from the USGS show.
Earthquakes that are 3.0-magnitude or higher can generally be felt, Austin Holland with the Oklahoma Geological Survey tells StateImpact.
