Updated: Small Earthquake Recorded East of Oklahoma City

A small earthquake was recorded about 1:50 p.m., 11 miles east of Oklahoma City, preliminary data from the U.S. Geological Survey show.
Data from the USGS show a 3.5-magnitude quake, but the Oklahoma Geological Survey recorded a 4.0.
The epicenter of the quake is near Nicoma Park, and was recorded at a depth of about 5.6 miles, according to the USGS data.
Generally, earthquakes above a 3.0-magnitude can be felt, says Austin Holland with the Oklahoma Geological Survey.
