My 65 year-old husband is having a resurgance of PTSD symptoms 40 years after his two tours. We are involved in a conflict with a neighbor who has installed a big HID flood light and I think that is a major cause of the problem. The base where Mike served on Monkey Mountain as a radio tech had big perimiter lights.

The VA has rated me 50% for PTSD -however the VA denied me Unemployability -worked 27 years for the same company -retired early because that company was about to go bankrupct -didn't want to lose my benefit's or pension -now the VA holds that against me -never mind that I didn't seek help for PTSD until 36 years later -has anyone experienced the same thing with the VA

This happened to me. Later in life at the company I worked for, there was an explosion that killed a young guy that worked for me there. It has been downhill from there on... All the years leading up to this, I was a heavy drinker, yelling, very hair-triggered and jumpy. The VA took until 2006 to diagnose me with PTSD. John.
