StateImpact: Drilling operations move in next door, and little homeowners can do

Oklahoma laws don’t allow building homes next to wells. But if the home already exists, there’s no statewide regulation stopping drilling next to it. For one couple in Ellis County, they got the drilling next door, but none of the benefits because they don’t own any of the mineral rights. StateImpact’s Joe Wertz visited Jarod and Tanja Pachner.
