Lance Armstrong has admitted in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that he used performance-enhancing drugs during his storied career as a cyclist.

Armstrong may be the highest-profile athlete to fess up to illegally gaming the system, but he’s certainly not the first. The immense pressure to perform has sent athletes from high school to the pros searching for ways to achieve that extra edge, even if it means bending or breaking the rules.

As an athlete, have you felt pressure to enhance your performance in any way? As a coach or parent of an athlete, what kinds of pressure to perform do young people face? Share your story here.

We may include your insights in upcoming stories or contact you to find out more.
