I’ve been thinking a lot about grieving in the midst of the holidays this year, because an unusually high number of people in my life are dealing with the loss of loved ones.
Holidays are difficult for so many people because of who is missing from around the table. If you have a story about how the holidays are different for you this year, we invite you to share your experience.
Has a death or a serious illness taken some of the joy out of your holiday season? Or are you trying to make this year’s holidays particularly festive — perhaps because you know that this may be the last you might have together?
Please tell us about how you’re coping with or celebrating through loss.
Thank you for your time. We may share — with your permission, of course — some stories and advice on our website.
