Solve the federal budget

The federal budget is a complicated beast, with some spending required by law, some seemingly required by public opinion, and other “discretionary” spending. And this campaign season, politicians on both sides of the aisle say they’ll do everything to bring that spending in line with revenues.
Under President Obama, deficits have consistently reached a trillion dollars. Again, some of that is because of policies, and some because more require government assistance as the nation tries to recover from the recession.
So what would you do? How would you get the United States back to a balanced budget, or even a surplus? Try out Budget Hero, and see what you can come up with. But be forewarned, this may be more difficult than you expect. At least it was for me.
