Leaders of the State and Oklahoma City gathered on Tuesday to commemorate the completion of the nearly two million square foot Devon Tower.
Hundreds pack the first floor of the five-story rotunda for the new Devon Tower while on the second level OCU music students sing “This is The Moment” from the Broadway musical “Jekyll and Hide”
Governor Fallin says at 850 feet above street level, the Devon Tower stands as signal of Oklahoma City’s position as an energy hub in the nation.
“It even sends a signal to the rest of the nation that Oklahoma City is truly a city on the move, a vibrant and exciting city to live and a great place to invest your money.”
The tower complex which took nearly three years to complete includes a 285-seat auditorium, a park, two restaurants and a coffee shop.
The tower itself houses 2,200 employees with room for 600 more.
Devon itself invests more than a billion dollars into Oklahoma.

A great-looking tower with job opportunities for almost 3K people…awesome!
