When it’s OK to steal from other newsrooms…

Filed by KOSU News in Public Insight Network.
September 7, 2012

One of the things journalists working with the Public Insight Network get really good at is coming up with successful and inventive ways to ask questions of their sources. And when queries are successful with one audience, often they can be successful with other groups too: So we encourage our community of journalists and editors to share the best of their queries, and invite others to steal them.

Last week in a webinar, we discussed a number of queries PIN journalists have offered to share with other newsrooms.

Have a look at a few theft-worthy queries by going through the presentation below. For the best viewing, hover over “more” and then click on “fullscreen.”  And thanks to everyone who offered up their own work for stealing.
