Opponents and supporters of same sex marriage squared off over chicken Wednesday. Chick Fil A became the latest arena for the ongoing culture war. I drove around to a couple locations to get a sense…
“It’s usually busy at Chick Fil A on a afternoon lunch, but I’ve never seen it this busy. Lines stretching into the street, cars coming from all directions.”
That was at the Second Avenue location in Edmond, where almost everyone said they were there because of the chain’s stance opposing gay marriage, revealed by the fast food chain’s CEO Dan Cathy in a recent radio interview. But beyond the lines, the horns honking, and whatever else, I found someone there to eat…
“Oh, I just like Chick Fil A. I’m not here for a particular political reason, I do support Chick Fil A, but we just like Chick Fil A.”
Adrian from Edmond, eating at Chick Fil A because she was hungry. That was a rarity Wednesday.
Same sex couples in Oklahoma can’t get married here, after voters passed a 2004 constitutional amendment making it a crime to even grant a marriage license to a same sex couple.

Ho! Hum!
So we're a red state.
Now, if all the taxpayers could get all exited about how much money is going to over pay the bloated military contractor CEOs….
Lockheed Martin $50 million ann
Boeing $40 million ann
Northrup Grumman $30 million ann
General Dynamis $66 million ann
Raytheon $27 million ann
Halliburton $49 million ann
World domination, at your expense (with everything else going to hal in a handbasket), is so much more important than a chicken sandwich, isn't it, now?
