The 2012 legislative session left many of us wondering exactly what happened.  After all the debating back and forth and the dozen different proposals we saw, it’s hard to tell, as an average citizen if I want an income tax cut or not.  Then, there are tax credits and how they play into the whole equation.    After all the debates and task forces, I can’t tell which tax credits are good or bad and how all of that affects me.   It must not be an easy thing to solve because even lawmakers from the same party couldn’t come to an agreement.

If you have some of the same questions, we invite you to come out to learn more about the issues and become part of the discussion.  It’s the return of Policy and a Pint, Wednesday, July 25th at 6 p.m. at Picasso Cafe at 3009 Paseo Drive in Oklahoma City.  Picasso’s will generously provide appetizers, we’ll provide the conversation, and you buy your own drink.

Oklahoma’s StateImpact team will join us, and KOSU’s Michael Cross will moderate the discussion.  Democrat Scott Inman and Republican David Holt also taking your questions. We hope to see you out there.
