People In Need, Inc. of Delaware County Ohio has the largest only regulated food pantry in Delaware County Ohio. The local postal carriers are also having the "Stamp Out Hunger" program tomorrow. Our food pantry will benefit from these post offices. Delaware County has the lowest unemployment in the Central Ohio area. We also are the fastest growing county in Central Ohio. Even with all this prosperity our pantry provided over 89,000 meals to Delaware County residents in fiscal year 2011. The need continues to grow. Like rural Oklahoma rural Ohio needs your help. Thank you to all the communities for coming together to provide for those less fortunate.

The Assembly of God is doing a great job, along with other churches here.
However, A friend of mine got a "community garden" put in Jim Thorpe Park several years ago. We had 7 - 10 small lots available and only 2 or 3 takers, even though several of us offered to give garden seeds to anyone needing them.
While nobody wanted to plant and work a garden spot, someone did scrape up enough ambition to dig up and steal all of Jimmie's sweet potatoes!

I pray the same prayer as Ellen Vickers, what a wonderful world it will be when children are no longer hungry. That will be the real blessing in our lives. Thank you to all who help those who are in a postion to need food to keep their children healthy.

Wonderful story. Spreading the word on hunger and what is being done to stamp out hunger. My prayer is that one day, soon, the need for food will be better. Thank you KOSU
