A Legal Puzzle: Crossword Feature

Filed by KOSU News in US News.
March 18, 2012

In the next two weeks, the Supreme Court will hear arguments about issues that range from sentencing guidelines to mandatory health insurance. To help our readers get in the mindset for news from the court, we’ve prepared a special crossword puzzle, inspired by the reporting of NPR’s legal affairs correspondent, Nina Totenberg.

The words in the puzzle below are a mix of legal and everyday terms. To solve it, you can print this page, download the puzzle as a PDF — or, if you prefer to use the Across Lite puzzle software, you can download it in that format, and solve it on your computer or iPad. If you want that software, it’s available free.

We’ll post the solution to the puzzle on March 20. [Copyright 2012 National Public Radio]
